    Fantastic little bar/music spot just across the street from the beach in Surf City. They have a good mix of craft beers on tap & in cans/bottles. What makes it so special? The owner is clearly a music lover & has a stage set up with multiple guitars, a keyboard, super cool drum pad, etc that is an anytime/all the time open mic jam venue. We discovered this gem of a place late one evening while on vacation with my relatives from England. We all rediscovered our musical talents & ended up playing & singing until they closed. The friendly owner behind the bar is the happiest guitarist on the stage. I most definitely recommend The Second Row to anyone in the near. You'll have a great beer & a great show!

    Hidden gem on Topsail. Surf City is just the spot for Second Row. Laid back and diversified. Plenty of great NC beers to choose from and what looks like 75+ bottles of wine some offered by the glass .If you are in to live music, well they have that too. It's always open Mic here. If you didn't pack your instrument just get it off the wall and plug in solo or join in to the jam session . Plenty of fun and some tasty jams .This place is dog friendly. Sit back and enjoy the show .
