Captain Bob's BBQ & Seafood

Visited Hertford tonight and had to try Captain Bob's which to me is traditional down home southern cooking. Saturday night there is a $10.99 buffet and everything I had was decent to great, the minced Bar-B-Que was moist and excellent, great hush puppies, very crunchy fried chicken, some of the best slaw I've ever had. It wasn't on the buffet but separately I had the homemade carrot cake and that was great too. If you love real southern country cooking and are in the area, this is authentic and reasonably priced too.

I came here for lunch. All you can eat chicken, ribs, fish, bbq, scalloped potatoes, green beans, Mac and cheese...it was All Good! Friendly staff and just $9.99 plus tax! Yeah, I’ll definitely will be back.

I was there with my sister on the 3rd of August and we truly loved it, I'm in Baltimore trying to figure out how to get me some more barbecue and ribs the fish was very delicious. The service was great. So thank you guys for all that you have done and all that you do

This is just downright good eatin!
Really good BBQ, perfectly cooked catfish, and fried chicken like momma makes. The sides are just like home cooking too. This buffet is better than a potluck dinner at a Southern Baptist Church!

I stopped here after a journey back from a weekend away. The food was good, we had the buffet and everything was good. Service was also good with a nice and pleasant server. I would recommend if you're looking for somewhere to eat. It is a casual place so no need to dress up. An older interior that may need addressing in the future but all ok.
