Finally a wonderful, fresh dining option in Roxboro. This is not the warmed over Tex Mex stuff you get at other local Mexican Restaurants. This is just as fine as any terrific Mexican Food I've gotten in South Texas or Southern California. Hoping this place is a smashing success.

Came here for my birthday lunch (also my brothers gf birthday lunch). The rice was hard/dry.. I didn’t realize that the sauce for enchiladas was black, and I didn’t like the taste at all.. flies in the building as well. Some pros of this visit were the customer service was great, and the cheese & poblano pepper dip was good. They comped my enchilada lunch, and I hate to be the one to complain but I couldn’t finish it and my stomach turned towards the end of the visit.. if you’re not familiar with certain types of dishes they offer, don’t bother to come to try.

This first time I hate here was not great.
Gave it another chance this week, and it was delicious!
Fresh ingredients and homemade bread products, tortillas, etc.
My shrimp veggie sandwich with their special bread, was a good portion and had great flavors. Staff was very friendly and new her menu well. Answered all our questions.
Next time I'll try the Mexican soup. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful dinner at this new restaurant! We had guacamole and chips--some of the best I'd ever had. The tacos were excellent! highly recommend a visit to Casa Oaxaca
(ps---it's pronounced wa-hock-a) and is named after a capital city in Mexico.
Great food--nice ambiance.
