Best BBQ ever. Believe the hype because it's real. What an amazing experience!! I walked around back.to take pictures,and wound up getting a tour of the pits, smoker, and freezer by Matt who was working there. Amazing experience!!

I drove 3 hours to try this long established BBQ icon! I love wood fired whole hog BBQ and this place is always on the top review list in the Country! The BBQ was good, I chose to add the eastern sauce, which is a vinegar base with some spices, the baked beans were really good, and the potato salad was similar to what my mom and grandmother made. It's definitely worth a drive, but you better take cash, they're still old school!!!!!!!

The BBQ and slaw are absolutely amazing. The people are really nice. Only reason for 4 stars is the price is a bit steep. Went up since the last time I was there.

Top notch! Drove 1 hr 39 min for this bbq and it didn’t disappoint. The chop pork with bits of hard skin was life changing. I felt like i went back in time in a good way to the 50 or 60’s when quality was everything. The coleslaw and potato salad were amazing as well! I will be back in the future and worth the drive.

One of the best barbecue places around. Wood fired and cooked to perfection. Hand chopped fine with chips of hard skin included. Only serve barbecue, cornbread and one side so don’t expect anything else. This is all that is needed for the perfect barbecue. Enjoy!!!
