Colleagues invited us here, as this was Greenville's best Barbecue. They did not lie. We had the mixed plate, with barbecue and chicken, which both were great. The meat was just perfect. The coleslaw was good as well. I definitely want to go here again!
The interior could probably use an upgrade. However, as you go here for the food... The food was just great.
They only accept cash I heard. So be careful, and go early.. Apparently they run out of meat, fast.
B's Barbecue serves the best barbecue in my area. If you don't get there early where they sell out, which usually they do they close. Before 11:00 Friday the parking lot was beginning to fill and cars were parked on the sides of the highway. We bought a combination plate which had barbecue, chicken, potatoes and green beans and corn bread sticks. The portions are generous and the service is fast. The price is also reasonable. You can eat in or take out. If you want to take out they have a window that you can use. They have been featured in our local newspaper 'The Daily Reflector.'. I think you would not be disappointed.
The ladies that work here are so sweet and kind. The pork and chicken is fabulous ‼️This is where my husband wanted to have his birthday lunch with me and we're so glad we came. ????????????
Go early and be patient. Enjoy the company of their diverse clientele while you wait. From doctors and nurses (local medical community) to the guys out digging ditches and mowing grass . . . they'll all be there. And if you go too late, you'll be greeted by a "Sold Out" sign on the door! Best barbecue anywhere I've ever been and don't forget to ask for a little container of vinegar sauce to top your barbecue. Forget calling ahead . . . they ain't got no phone!
I had no idea that they don't accept credit/debit cards. So once I tried to pay and realized this I was in a situation.
The dude working said "don't worry about it just go eat, get some cash and come back and pay for it".
Southern hospitality at it's best.
