This is a great casual joint. The menu is short and sweet: smashed-down, juicy burgers with an assortment of toppings, and fried shrimp served a variety of ways, but you should get the shrimp po' boy. Sides are great, I love the french fries and tater tots. Drinks are generous, and the sweet tea hits the spot. The shakes are fantastic as well, try a concrete. The place itself is a bit worn, but has an old, highway pit stop diner feel.
I take a star off because pretty consistently, my order gets messed up in some small way, like a wrong drink or something. The price is also a bit on the high side too. Lastly, depending on when you come in, they may not have all the fixings for the shakes or concretes. It's pretty close to a 5-star place though, so don't skip it if you want good, casual eats.
If I were writing this based on the first time it would be all five stars. My first dining experience in this town. But the second time was not great. All four of us had messed up orders. And my one friend ordered grilled cheese which comes on sourdough. But hers came on an inside out hamburger bun. A d when she told the waitress that brought our food - not our original waitress, the waitress said "oh. I think that is sourdough." She told the original waitress who then checked with the kitchen. They were in fact out of sourdough. Why not just ask her if she wanted something different instead of trying to pass it off and hope we didn't notice? The savings grace here is the milkshakes. They are the vanilla shake with chocolate syrup kind but I really like those.
burgers and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. The service here is above par. It has a great interior.
This is the best Andy' (yes Andy's) I've been to in YEARS... and I've eaten at many. The cook, the waitress, PERFECTION (day of Pirate Fest 4/13/19 3:30PM).
Went the extra mile to accommodate my 4 kids, splitting sandwiches, quick on refills, SUPER KIND to the little ones.
Only place to get a burger in town. The owner and crew make sure that you are taken care of. The Best Hwy 55 In Greenville! Even with allergies I have never had a problem. Nice to know employees and food can be so great! ♡
