Went here for breakfast. Food was very good, but my meal was only luke warm which is sad because I ordered Biscuits and Gravy with grits on the side. All luke warm. Even my coffee was luke warm. My fiancé had a crepe which was excellent. So, I'm willing to try this place again because the food tasted good, just not hot. I'm not one to ask for my meal to be fixed, so I just ate it. I think it sat too long waiting to be delivered. I'm hoping my next visit gets this place up to the 4 star I think it may deserve. We'll see.
We had a wonderful lunch today at the Lavender Bistro. Both my friend and I had the Pick 2 (I had the mushroom soup and chicken salad sandwich; my friend had the roasted pepper soup and the BLT sandwich). We enjoyed then immensely (I now know why people rave about the mushroom soup!). Antoinette was our server—so charming and helpful. We look forward to returning!
Nice and relaxing atmosphere for Sunday Brunch. Our 1pm reservation worked out great. Appetizer - Seared Scallops, My Entree - South Trade Crepe (smoked Salmon) - My wife's Entree - Quiche (Blue Cheese, Cranberry and onion. Absolutely delicious! Great service! We will definitely be back! Made a special 45 minute trip from South Carolina just to try it out and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend!
Everyone enjoyed their food. Large plate chicken was not really large($23). Service was slow but a nice waitress. I would go back. The atmosphere needs tweaking. A great guitarist entertained.
Very nice Sunday dinner. Good menu variety. I had the quiche. Locally owned (not a chain). Pleasant location on Trade Street.
