“Wonderful experience! There are tons of fun and free things for the little to do! Lots of food options and drinks to choose from. We had never been before, and we will definitely be back to a Saturday Night Lights! Fun for the whole family! The horse show was amazing. We've never seen horsesjump in person and it was so much fun to watch!”

“A perfect experience! Great service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff quick to answer questions and advise on their favorites. The coffee - premium blends and roasted onsite to perfection. This visit we had lavender lattes and picked up two bags of freshly roasted beans to be able to brew the awesome blends at home. The scones - don’t stop in for coffee without having one ( or two) of their freshly baked scones. We ordered three and split them between the two of us. We had the cherry lemon, triple berry and the tomato basil with cheddar. All three were filled with flavor and melted in your mouth. We are visiting Lake Lure for the weekend and drove over to experience Openroad for our morning coffee time. It was well worth the drive over and definitely a place we will visit again.”

“We stopped in for desserts at the new spot in Tryon! They were absolutely delicious! Very friendly staff and attentive. Enjoyed a glass of champagne. Our kids loved the macrons and chocolate pyramid. My husband enjoyed the chocolate chip cannoli! Great place! Can’t wait to return to try lunch!”

“What a great little restaurant with great seafood near home. The family (6 of us) visited here today and was very pleased with the service and the food. I got the Boil along with two other family members and we were very happy with our choices. My wife got the lobster roll and said it was the best she has ever had and it was loaded with lobster. Can't wait to go back and try the King Crab legs.”

“Wonderful coffee shop and delicious muffins. Barista was very knowledgeable and able to make my latte to order and not too sweet. A wonderful story and intentional business model. The only good coffee shop we could find open on a Sunday. Can’t wait to come back again when passing through town.”

“Great service, delicious sandwiches, fast food for individuals, slower for groups but the staff checked in on our group multiple times during the wait! Highly recommend when in Tryon”

“So excited to finally have a great food option near the Green River in Saluda. The Gorge Smashburger was delicious - the homemade pickles and WC sauce really took it another level compared to any other burger I've had recently. I also tried the Class 3 Grilled Cheese and it was amazing. Highly recommend adding the homemade WC pesto to that. The staff was also super friendly and the vibes at Wilderness Cove were great - I loved the music they were playing. If you're camping, tubing, kayaking or hiking in the area, don't miss out, you MUST give this place a try.”

“We stopped by here when we left Lake Lure. We just went to check it out and they were open. It is a orginal one of a kind shop. They sell so many kinds of ice cream. The owner was so friendly I feel like I knew her forever. The place is spotless and so organized. The 4 of us loved the ice cream as long as the service. Will have a new customer for life!”

“Wards grill used to be the place to go. Sadly it lost that. But since Taylor and her husband opened it, it brought back that family restaurant our town needed. The food is so good. It still has the same feel. I had the patty melt. It was the best ever. The hamburgers are big and prices are low. Definitely affordable to bring a family. If your in the area make this a must!!”

“Had a great experience at The Spot!! The spotted taco was delicious! Bean dip in the middle of a soft and crunchy tortilla. Yum! And the queso was super flavorful! Glad to have a new neighborhood hangout!”

“Great pizza! And the pickle fries are pretty amazing too. If this was a pizza place in Spartanburg I would go all the time. But, I will settle for the food truck on Tuesdays at Spartanburg Regional.”

“Fuji Express is great, we are so happy to have them in our community! We’ve loved going to their restaurant in Forest City for lunch weekly, now they’ve added a location even more convenient for us. Excellent food, excellent service. Dine in or carry out. Just look at that Veggie Plate and my happy wife... You won’t be disappointed!”

“Really cool place. We really enjoyed the atmosphere; a converted penitentiary, how cool is that! The staff is really on top of things. Had a chance to meet several of the owners, good folks. Food was really good as well; enjoyed the beer battered fried pickles! We're there for the beer and the Big House IPA did not disappoint. It is a bitter IPA by design and it pulls it off. Several good looking beers are on the horizon as well. We were just in town visiting so we won't be back too often unfortunately. But we look forward to seeing them progress when we visit.”

“Cool little shop in downtown Saluda. All the staple plus some cool, area related stuff. They have a butcher in the back. The steaks we got were excellent. Prices were pretty good for it being the only option.”

“I'd never had a pumpkin creme brulee before but it is to die for y'all! I'm going to be having azalea bistro for thanksgiving if they cater it and I hope they do cause nothing, and I do mean nothing they offer is less than delicious. Thank you so much for opening in our little mountain town”
