Mariscos Altamar

The food was delicious! I will be back. My octopus 🐙 dish was excellent! We also purchase couple more dishes to go and they packed everything so well. Super fast service.

Tried Mariscos unexpectedly, not knowing that they took over Mi Cancun. Its a tad more upscaoe and they upgraded the decor. They have a huge menu, which to some extent made it harder to order since there were so (too) many options. Food was very good and fresh. Good portions for what we ordered. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The guacamole was very creamy and sweet and wonder if it was mixed with something else. The margaritas were pricey but with the typical, large bowl for glasses. I prefer a better quality smaller portion. Looked like they were preparing for some live music which could be interesting. A little pricey and also had an upcharge for using credit card.

Don't sleep on this place! SO good. Feels like you're at a nice restaurant in the Caribbean. Excellent service. Higher end items like whole snapper, lobster, octopus, with more traditional texmex options (highly recommend the steak milanese tacos!). Great kids food options. Go & grab tacos & cheese dip or go all out with their seafood market items. Whatever you do....just gooooo! 🤘🤤🍤🦪🐟🌮
