    Jed's is probably the best place to eat in Asheboro. Big Bang for your buck and awesome food.

    Stopped in tonight and tried their baby flounder and shrimp combo special. It was very good and was a good value. The service was pleasant and efficient.

    Stopped here for lunch after a walk at the Deep River Nature Trail in Randleman. I got the applewood smoked chicken. It was absolutely perfect. It had great smoke flavor and was very tender and moist. The portion was large. The mac and cheese and green beans were good too. My husband got the chopped BBQ plate which was good but he liked my chicken better. Our waitress was good and the owner was behind the counter.
