Silo's Family Restaurant

Experience was good considering this place is away from the city. It's a nice little atmosphere. Sadly the waitress we had Sunday morning must have not been a waitress long. We asked for coffee, her response, " Well, OK but I'll have to make fresh...." OK we say! Then their outside sign states BREAKFAST... it's 10:38AM, we asked for breakfast. The waitress said "ummm let me check bc we end breakfast at 11:00".....we were then told no breakfast, it backs up the cook.... so we order lunch, as we wait for food, she brings the ticket. It felt like we were being pushed out the door. Some wait staff just don't realize their impact. We will though go again, maybe ask for a different server.

We were traveling from Charlotte back to Raleigh and decided to travel the back roads to see the state of NC. We like eating at one-off privately owned restaurants and found this place. All I can say is good country cooking done right. The owner came out and shared her meatloaf recipe although I had fish, my wife beafstew and my son a hamburger. If you are in the area I definitely recommend you stop by.

Silo's Family restaurant is a very good place to enjoy a great meal all day. Lots to choose from to satisfy your appetite.From veggies to pizza to a great breakfast menu. My wife thought the chicken pie was really good. I had the country style steak with three vegetables which were very good.We had a very nice watress that was very attentive.My granddaughter thought the ice cream cone was her favorite.We will be dining there again.????

Great food at this place. Definitely not what I was expecting when I pulled into the parking lot. They have good prices and amazing food!

Service was great. Food was not bad. The wings were surprisingly good. Pizza needs a little work. The crust is great but the sauce could use some help.
