First time there in many years. The store has a variety of items. Not badly priced. Now for my meal, I ordered grilled chicken tenderloins, mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken was absolutely delicious, great flavor and cooked perfect. Potatoes and broccoli were good too. I raved about the chicken all night. Very pleased. Will definitely dine here again. Looking forward to trying their breakfasts. Our server was very friendly and happy.
This is the best Cracker Barrel we have ever been to.We stopped off I-95 a few years back and now we make sure to visit when passing by. Miss Brenda was our server who was just as sweet as can be. The chicken fried was the best ever! I forgot to snap a picture!
Not a bad food establishment with old style recipes. The food does taste good and the Environment is typically welcoming. If you are into southern style cooking such as biscuits and gravy, or potatoes and veal then here it is. Lots of breakfast recipes and combinations, as well as lunch and dinner. Most establishments have handcrafted furniture, toys, and trinkets for sale, noticed upon entry through the gift shop.
The restaurant was right next to hotel, so it was convenient for a late evening dinner. I had their Sunday southern chicken and my husband had the traditional fried chicken and we were pleasantly surprised at how well it was prepared and how tasty the breading was, the serving size was very generous. Service was excellent, which I have found typical for this chain.
Cracker Barrel is always a fun place to eat and shop. This is in my top 3 family dining locations. The food is consistently good with lots of options and great kids selections. The roast beef is always tasty and tender. The fried chicken is good also. The biscuits are great. The corn bread is not. My kids love the chicken and dumplings. The apple dumpling dessert is a 10!! My dad loves the coke cake also. It's a perfect place for a multi generation dinner. We take my parents whenever they visit from California. I love the store with it's unique gift and snack options.
