Clean dining room. Friendly but slow service. And food was very good.
What can I say. I've been going there since I was waist-high. I tried their chili dogs only because it was Sonic's favorite food ???? but I have been hooked on them ever since especially when I got ketchup and cheese on the chili dogs amazing. The fried mozzarella sticks ???? with the dipping sauce that comes with it is just too perfect a combo.
First of all, driving into the premises is with a one way road that's quite narrow, parking is layered with earth/gravel. There's the drive through and the sit-and-eat sections. You'll have to circle on foot around the drive through section to get to the sit and eat section.
The meats are good. Pork, chicken and beef. AYou'll spend roughly $12 give or take. It's a friendly place
I'll start off and say the hush puppies and corn gave the stars cause they are good. I can understand if you grew up here and never had real southern BBQ, because it is very bland and the sauce is very watery. They should also ask KFC how to season chicken since that's all KFC is good at. The skin of the chicken was crispy I'll give it that, but overall there was no flavor in the chicken, ribs, and burger I have tried. All they really need to do is just add flavor cause the ribs did fall off the bone.
Chose this place randomly on a road trip by the amazing reviews. When we pulled up we were surprised to find that it was a drive up bbq joint. Wasn’t really going to work for us since we were far from home in the car but we decided to check it out anyway since the line of cars was wrapped around the build and then some. There was a walk up counter as well. When we got there the woman asked us if we were dining in. Confused we said sure. She pointed us in the direction of a small building around the back. There we found and air conditioned place where they would take your order and serve you. Great service. Wonderful staff. AMAZING food. There was even a playground outside. My son wanted desperately to play on it, but it was late and dark. I had the quarter fried chicken with corn and potato salad. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Huge portions! Can’t wait to eat my leftovers!!!
