    The food is amazing. The portions are insane. Best crabcake I have ever had. Filet cooked perfectly. This man does it RIGHT! Definitely check out the Governor.

    I know the chef personally and the food is amazing. You will not be disappointed. Veteran owned black owned business.

    The jerk chicken plate that The Governor recently put out went above and beyond what most would expect from a “plate sale”. The chicken was so juicy and fell for the bone with the perfect amount of spice for a Jerk Chicken. The rice and beans were amazing, and the fried cabbage was perfect in every way. The rum cake he made with the glaze was with out a doubt one of the best ever. It was a perfect mixture with out an over powering rum flavor. It was just perfect, as well as the added touch of the sugar crisp crust on it - set it aside from most cakes. If you missed this plate sale, don’t miss out on the next one.

    The chef help me surprise my husband with a private in home birthday dinner. He listen to the things I told him that my husband likes to eat and he delivered a phenomenal dinner experience. The chef was on time to start his preparations. My husband and I pretended as though we were going out on a date. We stayed in our room, got ready, and pregamed. The dinner service was to start at 5:30 and we made our way to our dining room at 5:26. And like clockwork the chef brought out our salad. He had laid out 2 place setting, a nice centerpiece and 2 candles. Midway through our salads he brought out some bread with his signature butter. He then clarified with us how we would like our lamb prepared. While he was preparing our entrees I got way too full on the bread and butter. Then came the entrees and finally dessert. The service never felt rushed. His service was outstanding and his food was delicious. I highly recommend his services. My husband and I are already planning our next date night in!
