La Boca Loca

Nice folks working here. Clean, small shop. Hot inside, poor air circulation, had to take my food to go. 1:30pm, they were out of bread and not making sandwiches. The couple before me left because they came for sandwiches and didn’t get any. I wanted to try the sandwiches too, but that wasn’t available. Colombian Empanadas and Cuban Ham & Cheese Empanadas were greasy and bland. Pastel de Pollo had a little bit of flavor. The chili sauce for dipping was bland, had no kick at all. Not a fan. Bland.

Great food and the family running the business is wonderful! The rice bowl works great as a recovery meal after leaving the gym across the street! Fresh and flavorful!

Who can believe we have a Cuban restaurant in Reidsville? The wife and I ordered the Cuban sandwich, pork bowl, maduro's, and two Cuban sodas. Everything tasted good, but we should have gotten something to dip the maduro's(fried plantains) in. The sodas were also good. Jupina is a pineapple soda, and Ironbeer tasted like an orange Creamsicle. The service was friendly but the restaurant is a bit small. The size of the restaurant is probably the only negative and when they are busy you could be waiting. We didn't wait long for the food, but standing in line to order while people were coming in and going out was a nuisance.

Really good authentic Colombian and Cuban food. Great addition to Reidsville.
