Sonic Drive-In

To be honest I have no problem with their service at this location. So I will keep the five star rating. My issue is with their hiring of disabled people at this location. I am disabled but not in the way most people think I am albino so o do have vision limitations and different appearance then most people.

I went in for an interview back in 2018 and met up with an older gentleman that was a manager at the store. He asked me a few questions then gave me a math problem to solve. I was off by maybe a dollar, and he claimed if I couldn't get that right I might over portion or miscount change.

So the interview ended there and as he started to walk away I could of sworn I heard him say " what a freak" now this is how workplaces can descriminate against people with disabilities. "Oh you don't meet our qualifications" is how this happens.

I don't know if this person works here anymore but if someone from the corporate office reads this, if Sonic is an equal opportunity employer think of how many employees this person has turned away that wouldn't complain about hours or money they would be happy to have a job.

Love going here during the day. If u go after dark it can be a mess. At night i feel like the staff goof off. So i stick to going around lunch time! The people on first shift are amazing and so nice!

I love sonics! Having the option to comfortably take your time to order at a car stall and relax and eat before pulling off is awesome. This is one of my many in between spots when commuting back and forth to work trying to pick something up on the fly. Staff seems friendly and I have don't ever have any issues my me orders. I'm doing keto so I ask my sandwiches with the bun and they accommodate me just fine.

Friendly fast service. Food was ok not my favorite but I would eat there again. They have nice big screen with menus and easy to order and pay. Did have great milkshakes!
