Love College Barbecue. Tried a mushroom hamburger.so good. Nice family restaurant. Always good friendly service.

Simple menu, but good food at good prices. The home fries at breakfast are awesome! There is sometimes a wait, especially during breakfast on the weekends. Service is always friendly.

Great place for traditional NC style bbq. Usually has good service with good food portions. The menu is typical for a bbq place built over 50 years ago. If you come at lunch it will be crowded. There's a good reason for that..... The food is good

BBQ (meat) quite good - just the right amount of natural smokiness. Sauce is a little soft (not a tremendous amount of flavor really) for me. Hushpuppies are decent, fries taste frozen. The slaw... Oh the slaw. It's got just the right amount of kick, great juiciness without being creamy and awesome, awesome flavor! A little vinegar, a little citrus, "mmm" goodness.

I had breakfast here yesterday and service was top notch (both visits) and the food great and plentiful.

Large portions adds to the value. I'll for sure be back and can recommend to anyone who likes breakfast and/or eastern NC style BBQ.

Great BBQ every time. Wonderful service. Have to wait for a table sometimes at lunch it's so busy. Short wait. Worth the ten minutes or so. Plenty on the trays.
