La Cava Restaurant

The restaurant is a hidden (well not really it is in a very visible old church) gem and is consistently a top choice for me when I'm in the area. It's menu changes regularly to reflect the freshest ingredients and the culinary pursuits of the chef. The owner/chef is fantastic and so friendly it's always a delight to enjoy an inventive, upscale(not stuffy) Italian culinary experience.

Beautiful decor, used to be a church, has nice stained glass windows.

I heard three patrons who were walking through the restaurant on a wine crawl describe the place as "lovely". I agree, it was lovely.

Amazing food! I love a restaurant where they have a new menu per day. It just shows the care given to select the ingredients and food items and it gives the chef an opportunity to cook something that they’re passionate about. You can definitely taste that in the food. I’ve tried the deserted, the duck, pasta, salmon, swordfish, it was all amazing! We will be back!

It was a Monday night and packed. Why? Because it is that good. The menu diverse and top end quality in a great setting. You may miss it, since it use to be a church. Make reservations. It in very reasonably price for the quality and they have $25 bottles on wine on the wine list of Good Wine. Staff is cheerful and attentive. I don't live here, but when I visit Salisbury next this is my first stop.
