Stopped to grab a bite here for lunch after a VA appointment. I actually like eating in the older, downtown area of Salisbury. Something about the architecture makes it feel really "Andy Griffith" - which is NO WAY anything bad! It just means everything has this awesome charm to it that is nice to submerse yourself in. The Oyster Bar is the same way. Nicely tucked away in downtown Salisbury. This place has great food! I could eat seafood every day and be perfectly happy and this place's menu is awesome. It was fresh and cooked perfectly. Seriously, the fish and chips I had were incredible. Service is great, people are friendly... you should go check it out!

We love this place, we rarely make it beyond the oysters and mussels - but they're so good that we often have two or three dozen oysters, and then an order or two of (2doz) mussels. My wife sometimes gets crab legs, and our daughter likes the shrimp. They also feature a good selection of craft beers.

The Shuckin' Shack has the best oysters and shellfish in Salisbury. We love this place and have come frequently since we first discovered it. We rarely make it beyond oysters and mussels, though my wife likes the crab legs and my daughter likes the shrimp.

They also often have live music on Fridays and Saturdays.

Awesome service, first time. Came in at 9:10 with a friend on a weeknight (closing time 10:00) and was warmly welcomed in. Ordered 2 dozen oysters and a dozen clams. Took a short while to get the food, but boy was it worth it. Cooked to perfection, not rubbery and was very fresh. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and polite. Craft beer selection was limited, but a good selection nonetheless. Overall fantastic experience; fresh seafood, good beer and great service. Would recommend!
