“Stopped to grab a bite here for lunch after a VA appointment. I actually like eating in the older, downtown area of Salisbury. Something about the architecture makes it feel really "Andy Griffith" - which is NO WAY anything bad! It just means everything has this awesome charm to it that is nice to submerse yourself in. The Oyster Bar is the same way. Nicely tucked away in downtown Salisbury. This place has great food! I could eat seafood every day and be perfectly happy and this place's menu is awesome. It was fresh and cooked perfectly. Seriously, the fish and chips I had were incredible. Service is great, people are friendly... you should go check it out!”

“Quick take out. I’ve tried the Scallion Chicken lunch special, steamed dumplings, and hot and sour soup. I really like the dumplings and hot and sour soup is pretty good too. Definitely cooked by legit Asian men. Although when you call they just take your order, don’t ask for your name or number, and just hang up, but they definitely will have it ready when you come to pick it up.”

“Amazing establishment. Food has become famous in Rowan County and for a great price. Service was exceptional, owner is very hands on in making sure the restaurant is running smoothly. Spoke with one of the managers, Megan who was checking in on customers. Very friendly and makes the customer feel important. I could tell the staff works well together and seemed happy with employers which can make or break a business.”

She wants to make sure the food and service are excellent, which both always are. The decor is beautiful. I love the chandeliers, they look like something out of medieval times. “We visited here based on their good food at the Concord location. While my husband liked the wings, I found my baked spaghetti to be not so great. The sauce was thin and tasted burnt. The employees were friendly and helpful. Maybe it was just my taste buds. We will probably go back once and try again just to make sure it wasn’t a bad day for them.”

“Visited 4/2/19 with 5 of my best friends. Not crowded/ too busy. The food was excellent. However, I cannot say the same for the service. Although the 2 ladies as service staff were friendly, cheerful, nice, they were not very attentive to the needs of our table. My beverage glass was empty more than not. About a 30 minute delay in receiving our checks. It seemed the 4 tables that came in after our group, were attended too more often received their checks during the 30 min wait before we received ours. Very disappointing to end our experience with that. Not sure I would travel the distance to go there again for service like that.????”
