The food was superb, the wait staff and owner were so personable with all the customers, the drink selection was great with the local breweries and flavors, and the newly revamped cheese curds were out of this world! Thank you for all your hospitality tonight as it was our first trip to The Hoot Nannie and we will be back! We drove from Simpsonville, SC, which is a 1 hour 10 minute drive, and it was everything we hoped for and more. I highly recommend that you go check out The Hoot Nannie if you are looking for a delicious meal and great company! Keep up the great work and we are already looking forward to our next trip!
Cheese curds are amazing. We also go cuban, grilled chicken sandwich, and chips which are homemade! Server was so sweet and did a great job. Everyone should go see Johnny Ray whom makes you feel at home. Only issue I saw was checkout is done by hostess and it was not easy.
Good food and good service. I love that the tip is already figured into the ticket so they can pay their employees a good wage. I'm glad to have them in Downtown Forest City!
Love the Honey Hog in Lawndale so I was thrilled to know Johnny Ray was opening The Hoot Nannie in my hometown. The shrimp and grits, chicken sandwich and cheese curds are easy top picks. Great atmosphere and friendly staff... It will be our go-to restaurant when my wife and I eat out. Highly recommend.
New place opened up and we enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the people. The manager even came to our table to make sure everything was going smoothly. We ordered the wings with the bourbon sauce and they tasted fantastic. My burger was perfectly done the way I ordered as well. We will definitely return to enjoy the great food.
