“Good for grabbing quick bite. Inexpensive. Not really impressed with the bacon wrapped deep dish pepperoni, though.”

“First, we were seated pretty quickly. That was great. Then we waited almost 15 min. before we got a waitress to bring us a menu. Then another for her to get our orders. We arrived there before 6:00 and did not get our food till after 7:00. Food was good, just everything took so long.”

“My daughter and I had the pizza and it was very good. The highlight however was our server Steven. He is a fantastic server and anticipated our every need, with timely refills, a box for leftovers and cups to go. He also was cleaning constantly. He is really an asset to this restaurant. I will definitely be back.”

“PROS: Excellent prices. Unbelievably abundant portions of fish: fried or broiled...served on huge plates that other restaurants would designate as "platters." The service was excellent, with very upbeat and attentive waitresses. Ample parking and seating, in a very family- friendly atmosphere. CONS: we tried flounder, catfish and tilapia (both fried and broiled). All were muted in flavor, as if seasoning was absent-although red flavorless spices were clearly visible on the broiled baby flounder... You also have to watch out for fish bones in fried fish, particularly if children are in your party. No knives at the table...just forks...! No locks/hooks in the bathroom stalls...bring a buddy!”

“Delicious food, reasonable prices and great ambience. The upstairs can be rented for private events with plenty of room and a private bar. The outdoor patio is pretty too. Pretty much the only place I'd have a business lunch or take a dinner date in this town. There have been a couple restaurants at this location over the years...but this one I really hope stays. It's good.”

“Great little hometown place for a home style breakfast at a reasonable price. Service is fast, even when you have to wait on a table, and wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is well prepared. I love it when I order eggs over easy and they actually come that way! A lot of places get the yolks too done, but I've never had that happen at the Breakfast Nook.”

“Off the Square is one unique, ambient, comfortable place to be. Not my first time, but I thought I should share this. Food is delicious, and is made with artistry and love. Service is often nice and friendly. The atmosphere is simple and relaxed ????. At busy times I recommend to get extra help because food tends to come out of the kitchen late. I wil go back for sure.”

“Went there on a Friday night to hear Sound of 7 band play upstairs. Even though it was very crowded, the music and food was terrific! I especially loved all the interesting newspaper articles framed on the walls and the antic features of the building.”
