Great community diner where there's always regulars.

Good food but every time we go we get charged a different amount. We order the samething every time. Can someone explain why?

Good food in a home style dinner! Revisit the good old days with curb service or eating inside.

The food is really good here as this is a local diner place in Mount Airy, North Carolina. I recommend the chuckwagon sandwich and strawberry ice cream they have. You can order from your car or go inside. Although, I wish they had a better outdoor menu with prices. You have to ask for a menu from the car hop if you sit in your car to eat. Also, please take cash to pay with because they don't use debit cards. The picture below is of a hotdog and onion rings I ordered, which is really good too.

Absolutely love the laid back, friendly & personal staff. My Daddy introduced me to the owner which he spoke very highly of~ making the comment that the owner was one of the most generous and humble people he knew. & My father is a great judge of character. The owner had a decent conversation with my father and they spoke like old friends~casual, personal & exceptionally kind & warm, genuine southern hospitality. & very down to earth. & I have to elaborate, the genuine hospitality upon visiting this establishment meant more to me than they will ever know. It's a quaint, nice place for a father-daughter lunch. ???? This establishment is clean, prices are reasonable and the portions of food are satisfying & very generous. I would recommend stopping in for lunch and experiencing the delicious food, friendly, fast & exceptional service. & The option to dine in or take out is convenient. Either way~ you choose, you will leave very full & satisfied.
