Great location and food. Buck is a friendly and competent waiter. Front porch is a great place to sit and people watch especially when the train arrives!!!
My wife and I ordered takeout in the early evening on a Saturday. I selected spaghetti with a side salad; she ordered a large garden salad. My portion was small and the sauce was thin. The bread was reminiscent of baked pretzel dough, and it was just tossed on top of the spaghetti. Her salad was lettuce with two slices each of tomato and cucumber. The onion, black olives and shredded mozzarella were more plentiful. My side salad had roughly the same distribution of vegetables as her large salad.
Pretty good restaurant located in Bryson City, NC. One advantage is that there is a separate parking lot for this restaurant, so you do not have to find street parking. The staff was very friendly (unfortunately, the were understaffed the day we were there, so the meal took much longer than it should have). That being said, when the meal arrived, the food was very good (I had the bacon cheeseburger, my wife the salad with grilled chicken). Portions were good. The quality was excellent. So, I recommend this place, but they need to get their staffing issues resolved.
We sat on the patio with our dog and it was very relaxing. Our server Amanda was great! She seemed very busy but took great care of not only us but what seemed like the whole patio. We think their craftbeer menu is great! Also, pizza was the best we had here. Tried Nate’s on Everett on our first night in town and the kids weren’t thrilled nor we’re we, but on our last “date night” with my husband, we fully enjoyed everything. Will recommend to family that also visit here.
