Great food and amazing view, can see for MILES!! Waterfalls and overlooks accessible in a few minutes drive. Will most likely have to wait for a table, but take out available (probably have to wait for that to). Then you can take it to the Adirondack chairs that fill the lawn overlooking this beautiful view.

New things for 2019. Forever views and good food are hallmarks of this Blue Ridge Parkway icon. The gift shop has been revamped with new shelving and merchandise reset. Also new for the 2019 tourist season is a new cafe replacing a former group/event dining room. It's just to the right upon entering the building. If you are very lucky, you'll have Elizabeth as your server.

The beauty of this place is incredible! When the sun goes down the skunk family came out to play and the stars were just mind boggling! Hope you get the chance to stay there sometime! The food is top notch and service is superb!

The room was very cozy and clean. The view from our room was unbelievable with such majestic mountain views. The restaurant had excellent food. The gift shop has very affordable prices for great gifts to purchase. We had a great experience and will definitely return for another visit.

Breathtaking views. The food and service are good too. But really you eat here for a window seat overlooking the mountains. The dinning room opens up at 11:30 for lunch. If you get there early put yourself on the waiting list to ensure you can get a window seat.
