Why eat corporate, bottled, frozen, homogenized chain bbq when you could have Stallings' ribs in this nostalgic setting served by friendly locals? High sanitation score and made fresh daily, on-site. Wow!

The ribs are amazing. Bones slip right out with ease every time. Leaves you with a rib steak that is mouthwatering. The BBQ Beef sandwich is top 5 sandwiches I've ever had in my life. I have it with the white slaw (mayo based) and sweet tomato sauce.

The cornbread gets its own paragraph. It is the sweet and moist compliment to any meal. It's so good! I actually hate eating cornbread but always order this cornbread. It's incredible, like cake.

My favorite place for authentic Q! This little place is the real deal and the best in the Matthews/Mint Hill/Charlotte area. The pork not only tastes fantastic, but you won't find leaner BBQ anywhere. The staff does a great job of trimming and pulling only the best meat. Check out the Brunswick Stew...excellent! They also cater, and we have used them for several parties. Friendly, appreciative staff...love this place and am thankful it is close enough that I can avoid all of the chains and pretenders!

I love this place! You can't beat the sandwich combo. You get a BBQ sandwich, choice of side and a drink for $6. The best part is, it's terrific too!! Ribs are good, a but saucy for my liking but they are definitely tender, fork tender. Next time I may just ask ask them to go easy on the sauce. I'll be back
