I was excited to try this new restaurant but I was disappointed. My husband did like his taco salad but I think $13.99 is too much for a taco salad, $11.50 is too much for two quesadillas with just mushrooms and cheese. I had two tacos, one chicken with a soft shell but the chicken was dry and the shell wasn't warm or soft. The hard shell beef taco barely had any beef and both tacos had very little cheese. The waiter was polite but my husband got a Coke and we got water but the waiter never came back to ask us if we wanted a refill on coke or water until our food was gone and they were not busy on this night. I think they have a lot of work to do, even if they don't lower their prices, they need to make sure that their waiters and waitresses come back to check on their customers. I do love your cute little robots that delivers the food to the tables but the staff needs to make sure that that food is good before it reaches the tables. People want to enjoy good food and want to get good service too. We will wait a while and come back and give you guys another chance but get it together.
Most okay-ish mexican restaurant in Waxhaw. It was dead silent and we sat in a completely empty room away from the main seating area. The “authentic” Mexican restaurant vibes were not there. Rap music was playing over the speakers occasionally followed by silence. Food was alright, not the best but not “bad”. Our server was very polite and helpful. I also don’t understand the robot waiters if they still have to be followed around by somebody. The food is also expensive to be a Mexican restaurant. We wanted to give this place a try after being loyal to the main Mexican restaurant in town and our opinion hasn’t changed over who the better of the two are.
Hopefully as this place goes through it’s growing pains it will improve but from what I saw I won’t be returning.
Everything was great! My only critique would be to strain the meat better. I got the nachos and my daughter got a quesadilla, the taste for both was very good but oily. Service was great, friendly and fast. We will definitely be back!
Great food! Service could’ve been speedier but overall it was a great experience for a newly opened restaurant! Apparently there is still a 2 week period or so before they get their liquor license so be aware of that.
Great new place. Authentic Mexican restaurant. Great guacamole. Give them a try!
