I was pleased with my food and service, The monterrey chicken sandwich was very tasty and the fries are good too. The birthday brownie they brought me out was probably the best brownie I've ever had.
The birthday song was great and so sweet.

I also wanted to add the fact that I brought my mentally I'll brother with me for lunch and they were so nice to him. A++++

The breakfast burrito was amazing, i strongly suggest using the hot salsa with it. The Vera's Big Daddy Breakfast was good and came with a lot of food. I couldn't even finish my chocolate chip pancakes.

The owner, Vera, is very nice. She came around to each table to thank us for coming. The food and service were both good. Food arrived expeditiously. I tried the hamburger steak w/ gravy & onions, fried okra and mac and cheese. The hamburger steak and okra were excellent. However, the mac and cheese could use some seasoning as it was kind of bland. Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try. I will be making a return trip to try their other various items.

First week they are open. Service was good, but obviously still sorting the kinks out. Nice people though.

You sit and order like a full service restaurant.

I had an incredible Chipotle burger. Huge patti, nice bun, and sauce was on point...I will actually ask for more next time. My wife had the Monterey chicken sandwich. That was huge almost enough for two. Real thick cut bacon.

On Fridays and Saturday dinner service they are going to have Mexican options. I got a taste of the steak taco... seriously thinking of going back there tonight. It was that tasty.

Breakfast menu looked good. May give Stacks a run for their money. Vera's is just a bit more expensive than Stacks basic breakfast though

We happened upon Vera’s Kitchen when walking downtown Waxhaw and we are so glad we did. It is amazing. The food is phenomenal. If you are looking for the best, most authentic burritos around, this is it. Not to mention, the owners are the most friendly and kindest people you can meet. From the moment we walked in we felt like family! We will definitely be going back again and again.
