    It was okay, chicken liver's were tasty. Gizzards was too soft, not crunchy enough.

    The food is the greatest. I love their footlong hotdogs. I have also tried the chicken livers w/beef gravy. Yum

    Good soul food.
    Passing through town, and looked up this place. I wasn't too disappointed. Collards cut up the 252 Eastern Carolina way, just the way I love them. However the mac and cheese wasn't up to par for a real soul food restaurant. Also the cake that I was told was fresh baked, wasn't good at all. I would eat here again just wouldn't order those items.

    The speed of service was great. The prices were excellent. The food was delicious. We ordered the Sunday special fried shrimp platters. My only drawback was it was a little too salty for me. Will go there again. The fried chicken has had rave reviews from other family members. Will try it in the future.
