Went on a date here Sunday afternoon. The service was great, the good was amazing and even though they didn't have gator ready when I ordered it, they gave me free gator bites to make up for it a bit later. They have a good selection of Louisiana beer. It was a great experience. I will return.
Hubby and I ate there today for lunch. It was good! He had the Seafood platter which he enjoyed and I had the Voodo Pasta which was good and spicy! ???? Shout out to our waitress Alyssa!!! She kept our cups full, made sure our food agreed with our pallets and anything else we needed!! Thanks young lady keep up the AWESOME job!!???????????????????????????????????? We will be back and we do recommend "The Lost Cajun!!"????????
1st visit. Visited during lunch time. Staff was friendly and attentive. You will receive a sample flight of their various most popular Gumbos and Rice dishes. I ordered Gumbo and Fried shrimp. Both dishes were very good and tasty. After receiving my shrimp one of the staff actually came over to the table and asked if she could take them back because they looked slightly overcooked. She was correct and they brought me a fresh dish of shrimp which I very much appreciated. The manager also came by to check on me. They get a A for effort on that alone. Overall experience was good. I'll definitely be going back. I travel to New Orleans on business so I need a place to satisfy my urges and desires for Cajun and creole dishes. Worth checking them out.
When I was growing up in Miss our favorite treat was to go to New Orleans for their food. I have missed that a lot since moving to NC, but no more. We found the Lost Cajun and it is the real deal. We were served a flight of 8 chowders and gumbos at the start, and every one of them was authentic. Can't wait to go back and finish working my way through all of them!
We are originally from New Orleans. The food here was exactly correct. Service was friendly and wonderful well. While a casual dining place, the decorations were beautifully Cajun. We will be going back until we've tried everything on the menu. Then we'll start over.
