When everyone in the kitchen is speaking Italian, you know it has got to be good! This place is simply wonderful. My husband and I have gotten take out and had a sit down dinner from Alex & Teresa's and they both have lived up to the hype. Their fresh gnocchi are light and fluffy, baked in a delicious bright and garlicky red sauce. The wine list is impressive with bottles that are off the beaten path which is always a plus. Our server Joseph was the epitome of what great customer service is. The atmosphere is absolutely fun, warm, and they welcome you in with open arms. A must try for any Triangle Foodie!!
If you want to eat real Italian cuisine, as it is enjoyed in Italy, you can't beat Alex & Teresa's. Pasta from scratch. Dishes no other "Italian-American" restaurants offer. A real gem of a restaurant, the chef cook from Naples, a place we hope we'll long be able to go to.
I discovered this restaurant a couple months ago and hearing the Italian, I knew right away it's a special place. Very authentic, friendly staff, and great service. Since then I've been back 5-6 times, each time trying a different dish and wine. The food is awesome! Best to Alex and Teresa!
Our new go-to place! We have been here three times now and have not been disappointed yet. From the minute you walk in you feel welcome. And the food! It's every bit as good as what we ate in Rome a few months ago. Though by the time we actually get to our meals, we are stuffed from the hot bread and anything else Alex decides to send to the table. I just can't say enough about this restaurant. We are so happy they came to the neighborhood. One suggestion - they need a good sign out front to represent the gem that's inside.
