    Wow!!! Loved every part of the experience! Flaming cherries are definitely the most amazing dessert I have ever had! Ask for Bob, he is an amazing server that caters to your every need! Will definitely be back!

    Found this gem while my co-worker & I were in town for a conference. As we walked in, we knew we were slightly underdressed, but it was no big deal. Our sever was Mr Jim, who was friendly & extremely knowledgeable with the menu. I ordered the Broiled Grouper or was it Flounder, stuffed in crab meat with two shrimp. Our side was the asparagus & we split a wedge salad with a very fancy French wine to sip on. So fancy I forgot the name. Ha. This was one of the best dinners I’ve had this month & I now reside in Nashville, TN. They even have chocolate covered mints as you walk out... I highly recommend this restaurant. Service & food was top notch & I thought prices were fair for what we ordered.

    Exceptional- not for “a quick bite”. This establishment is so iconic the only way you will know you are at the right place is to look at the outside floor mat. It is authentic and amazing. New Orleans inspired with a NC twist. Do not go here if trying to get a bargain - go here for great food. Uploaded photo of Mr. Rey making bananas foster- if ever offered that privilege do not pass it up!

    I've been going to Rey's almost 2 years now and everytime I go, the food is always amazing. The staff is always knowledgeable about the food and very friendly. I've met Rey a few times and he's a very nice guy. I recommend this place to everyone that asks about good food, nice environment, and friendly staff. I've read reviews where some people said it was pricey. I look at it like this, I've traveled the world and I have yet found a steak that tastes as good as Rey's! I couldn't wait to get back home and go to Rey's. The quality of his food is out of this world to the point where you eat the leftovers the next day and the flavor, the juiciness is still there. So yes I don't mind paying for quality. Go to Rey's!
