Thai Spices & Sushi

The food was amazing. If you like the food spicy and hot, get the diced peppers in vinegar (see picture). A lot of veggie options and for most you can semi customize dishes. I will definitely be back for some more. Love it.

Our food was super delicious and the staff members were super sweet. They welcomed us in with a smile maybe 15 minutes before close (we didn't realize closing time had changed.) I really appreciate them making us feel welcome despite our mistake.

This place is worthy of breaking one of my cardinal rules. When I find I place I love, I usually tell no one...especially my favorite lunch spots. But this one is just too good not to share. And...given the location I worry no one goes there. Or at least or enough people. Everything I order, every time, is beyond delicious!

In full disclosure - I only order Thai when I go here. Why? BECAUSE IT’S A THAI RESTAURANT! Run by a Thai family. Every single dish I’ve ordered is cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Service is always “slow” by American standards but if you eat in enough authentic ethnic restaurants you already know this so no need to dwell on it. I cherish the fact that each and every thing I order is being crafted...and I love the fact that the server will spend 3-5 minutes answering all my questions and making sure the kitchen understands my order so it’s delivered exactly the way I want it.

If you’re in a hurry - skip this place. But if you’re looking for authentically prepared food - and can spend 45 minutes - go for it!

We have been going here for several years and things seem to be declining. We were really disappointed in the food we ordered and when we asked what happened, the waiter shared that they had a new chef.
