Went to The Big Easy Oven and Tap yesterday. Food was delicious, hot, and good. We had a big party, but that was not a problem. We sat out on the patio, which was cool and relaxing. Had a great server and a great time.
Great food, fast service and no wait. We went here on a Friday night about 8:30. This place/food is inspired by New Orleans, LA. They have a pool table and outdoor seating. Prices are fair and they have monthly specials. I would recommend this place!
Always pretty good here. The shrimp and grits had a bit too much sauce but the flavor was spot on! Also the ahi tuna salad was spectacular! Great service as well!
It’s not Southern Louisiana, but it’s probably the next best thing you’ll get around here. I wish the bar focused more on getting Louisiana beers and cocktails, but my old fashioned was good. The crab poppers were a great starter. I expected the cream cheese and jalapeño to over power the crab, but was certainly not the case. The seafood platter was also a generous enough portion that with the appetizer, my boyfriend and I were very content having shared a plate. Definitely would go back in the future.
Surprisingly GOOD. Very fast service. Was expecting a typical sports bar...much nicer! Excellent crab cakes, home fries, grilled veggies. The fried spinach was really unique and good, crispy and light when it was hot, but as I enjoyed my crab cakes, they got very greasy. (I don't think that worth reducing my 5☆score since it was my fault for not eating them fast enough. Lol)
Would eat here again if I was in the Cary area, but would recommend to those I know who live in this area.
