The Verandah

We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch. Everything was spot on from the attentive and thoughtful service to the delicious array of breakfast and lunch options. We especially appreciated that the chef was attentive to our gluten allergies, with lots of good options on the menu and our fabulous waiter, Brian's, assurance that our food would be carefully prepared. The restaurant is elegant, bright and open-- such a beautiful space. We'll be back soon!

The meal was quite tasty and the dining room is nice. The rum cake was dry and tasted like Food Lion pound cake. Will return but will not waste money on dessert again.

Monday night is break even night at the bar. You get your first pour of the bar manager's weekly bourbon pick at their cost. We got lone rider bourbon at $3 each. Grabbed our drinks and sat at the beautiful patio and ordered apps. Everything was very good but in order of preference were the fries, crab hush puppies, wings, cauliflower, and pimento cheese dip. Service was very friendly. Will definitely go back another Monday to see what they are pouring.

I had a delay waiting on my train to depart and took a short walk to Verandah restaurant for a breakfast. Wow! What a great find. The staff was friendly and inviting, the blueberry and roasted pecan pancakes and stone ground grits were perfect! The decor is wonderful and comfy! I will be bringing my wife back for a try soon! Thank you to the owners for bringing a nice place to Cary!

Fantastic local spot. Beautiful dining space. Staff is incredible- we felt like we were hanging out with friends and they really cared about us having a good experience. Everyone liked their food- fish tacos, fried chicken salad, chicken wings. We were offered drinks to-go, which is a friendly touch. We will definitely be back!
