Udupi Cafe

I’ve been to several restaurants but never ate something so authentic. Before going here I had my speculations about the taste, especially since it’s it’s all vegetarian (I’m hardcore south Indian foodie and it’s not easy to get my thumbs up). I’m definitely coming back here!

Pretty decent especially considering the area. It can be hit-or-miss. Everything was authentic and nicely served. Quality was good. Not the best Dosa in the planet but definitely not the worst

Holy cow! The weekend buffet at Udupi is out of this world. I love vegetarian Indian food, and they do it amazingly well. My favorite Indian dish is pakora curry and is only available on weekends. I've only known a handful of other Indian restaurants to make it, so I feel like I hit the jackpot here because they make it best. Everything on the buffet was absolutely delicious, as were the made to order dosas. I can't wait to go back!

The place has all the dishes made famous by this restaurant name and patrons are not disappointed. However in comparison to some other restaurants catering to similar taste this one gets a lower rating. Improving the sambhar, a staple of most dishes would be much appreciated. Seating and lighting would be next on the list.
