Capital City Chop House

Had not eaten here for a while but as good as I remembered. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive. Steak(filet) was prepared correctly, salad fresh, good wine list. Will not wait so long to return!

EXCELLENT!!! I brought my husbands here tonight for his birthday. The service was amazing and the food was amazing!! Our server was top notch. Definitely will not be our last time here. Thank you Capital City Chop House for making today very special for not only my husband, but for me also.

Went here for a work business meeting. Had amazing good and staff, the time for food to be prepared takes quite a min due to it being fresh food. Other then that, it’s an amazing restaurant

We went to have and after work celebration and the restaurant was very accommodating and welcoming to our large group. Even in rush hour traffic, getting in and out was fairly easy. The staff was super helpful and the food was delicious.

I come here often for business during lunch and dinner. I find the Chop House convenient and with above average to excellent food. However, lately (over the last 2-3 months) the service has been only average to below average. I went to dinner on Wednesday (1/9) with a colleague. The person at the front desk was excellent but told us it would be a 30 minute wait. It was very busy. I told her we would wait at the bar. We waited at the bar for almost 15 minutes trying to make eye contact before a bartender took our drink order (they were very confused). Looking around I saw at least four booths that were empty but had not been cleaned. What appeared to be the manager walk by them at least three times.They stayed that way for the entire time we were at the bar. We were seated about 35-40 minutes and our waiter was less than hospitable. Bottom line, lunches are great and dinners are a toss up regarding service. If there is a wait, you may want to head elsewhere.
