Daily Taco

This seems like a new place in this small strip. The menu is relatively simple - quesadillas, tacos, horchatas, etc. If you are looking for authentic Mexican, this isn't the place. But if you are looking for a quick bite of some Mexican-inspired dishes with fresh ingredients, this should be ok.

Similar to Which Wich, you indicate what you want on paper. Select from options of proteins like carne asada or chicken, veggies, salsas (salsa verde, salsa rojas, chipotle), etc.

It wasn't busy when we visited, so the food came out pretty quickly in about 5-10 minutes.

For the taco bowl, you'll have to mix it up a bit yourself. The salsas come in their own little containers, so you can season it however you like. We saw that the portion on the taco bowl was a bit more than the tacos, but I think they were a dollar or so more expensive.

While the ingredients seemed fresh, the flavor department was a bit lacking, especially the salsa verde. I really wanted to see the flavors of the tomatillos and jalapenos come alive and give it a kick, but the salsa rojas didn't really help either. Thankfully I had some fresh jalapenos to save the day.

To the chefs of this place: good use of fresh ingredients, but don't be afraid to kick it up a notch with the salsas especially since people can season the taco bowls to their desire. Thanks!

Small spot with a great selection of tacos and taco bowls. Excited to try their breakfast tacos. Friendly staff. Offers coffee, soft drinks, water, tea, and smoothies for drinks. A fun variety of coffees, next on my list to try.

You fill out a laminated "register" and they make it. Quick and easy!

The tacos are not the best I've had, but not bad in a pinch. A little on the pricey side. The avocado and sour cream is extra, but includes a decent amount of salsa. The chipotle and tomatillo salsas are incredible! Not too spicy, lots of flavor. I'll have to try their bowls next.
