Just to get the negatives out of the way, seeing the place from the road is a slim possibility and the side streets and parking lot have people speeding frequently providing opportunity for fender benders and such. Not a huge negative, but the spice scale is on the mild side. Tried a dish with the hot option (which is one step before Thai hot) to be cautious as this was my first visit, and it was very mild. But the flavors were very good, and the amount made it so we had to take the rest home. Seating area in the bathrooms were very clean. Temperature was fine at the time, but due to large open space and the door opening a lot I could see it getting cold quickly in the winters. Overall a definite recommend.
Service was friendly in this small place. Tried the drunken noodles for my first time. It was a little spicy, and the wide noodles were cooked well. Flavor was nice, but the sauce was a little too sweet for my tastes. I enjoyed it and will try again.
FINALLY!!! A great Thai place!!! My sister and I are serious foodies and typically do not post our reviews - Usually because nothing really stands out for us. However, the food was sooo good here! We tried several different items and ate absolutely everything! I believe anything on the menu would be just as good. In addition, the Owner was a lovely, gracious host that made sure everything was made to perfection and that we needed nothing. It's a must have, regular dining treat for us! Can't wait to go back!
Wow, just wow. Ate lunch there today and loved it. They first serve a little bowl of chicken broth with rice and bits of chicken. What a cool little starter!
I had Thai basil chicken and it was great. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was just excellent. Even the presentation was pretty. Served with a slice of fresh orange that balanced the heat of the spiced dish eating it after finishing my meal.
My other half had Pad Thai and he loved his as well.
Good luck THAI 54! I wish you success!
First impression - work is needed. Thai barbecue chicken was unbelievably overcooked and the parts that were edible tasted like it was marinated in sugar water and nothing else. The shrimp fried rice that accompanied it was bland. The lamb chops were fairly tasty and a bargain at the price. Thai tea is pretty good. Service was decent.
