Max's Pizza & Grill

My absolute favorite pizza place in Raleigh. Amazing value considering they actually have the old school large pizza that probably fits better in the trunk than the seat! NY Style with just enough of everything to make it perfect. My only complaint...they aren't open Sundays! But hey, with pizza this good being closed Sunday only makes you want it more on Monday!

FYI--edit: I've read previous complaints about delivery taking about 45 min. I live about a 1.5 miles away and will say 45 min is an average delivery time--but keep in mind, this isn't production line pizza with 20 delivery drivers! I often order from the pool during the summer, the drivers are always accommodating and the pizza always gets there hot enough we've gotta let it cool down. Be patient with the delivery, I promise it's worth the wait!

Been a frequent customer now for 15 years! I absolutely love this place! The owners are the most friendliest people, always smiling. The food is beyond great! The quality of the products you can taste and tell the difference. Probably one of few places in Raleigh that use beef pepperoni and beef bacon!!! Forever a loyal customer .

I’m from South Carolina in Raleigh visiting and this pizza is freaking amazing ....delivery guy was super friendly and pizza is hot and fresh ...my kids love the cheese pizza they were so happy ...this pizza is delicious wish I could post a pic of it

Love Max's!! Pizza is hot fresh, made with cornmeal, very nutritious and healthy! Owners are family oriented and pleasant to see everytime I stop by!

Overall, we had a great dining experience. Service was quick and friendly. Pizza was hot and good. I wish they had mixed all the toppings all over the pizza instead of just putting one topping per three pieces, not a fan of that. Our crust was burnt on the bottom as well. Atmosphere was amazing, however.
