Red Hot & Blue Raleigh

I have enjoyed this place very much in the past, so maybe I went on an off day. We were basically the only people there, yet our food still took way too long. We sat for nearly 30 minutes waiting after we ordered. I was disappointed with my "Carolina" bbq sandwich, which for some reason had excessive amounts of black pepper in it. The staff was friendly, and our drinks stayed full. Just a little disappointed in our food.

Hands down a classic in Raleigh. Incredible food! Great customer service. Always an excellent choice for everyone from the southern style appetizers to the pit grill meats & delicious homemade sides. A true favorite spot for lunch or dinner or carry-out.

This place is awesome! The wait staff is friendly and offered suggestions since it was our first time there. They have an entree that lets you sample all the various types of barbecue they have. The food is excellent and portions are plentiful. I will be back!

Every time I walk in, I'm greeted by the wonderful smell of smoked foods. This place does great with smoke. Great food and great service.

Service was good. I ordered the "5 meat treat" all meats were tender and juicy. I wasn't able to tell the pulled pork from the pulled chicken. The items didn't taste like they were smoked or slowly cooked. Great variety of sauces. I think I liked the brisket the best and the sausage the least. The food didn't hit it out of the park for me.
