If you like good ole', down home, southern cooking, and lots of it, this place is for you. The choices are too numerous and the portions are more than enough. But make sure you save room for dessert, there's always some great choices in desserts. The last time I was there there were at least 12 or more choices. And all of them looked fantastic! After a huge meal I had to stop myself from getting more than one.

The service is excellent and the restaurant is always clean.

It's worth the wait on a Sunday afternoon. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious! Best meatloaf around

Brittany was the best! Efficient, welcoming, and knows what she's doing with customers :-) definitely coming here again. Pulled pork was great and didn't even know there was a salad bar ????

The restaurant is in a bit of a strange location - it's not right off the road but looks like it's at the back of another building parking lot. It's a great place with friendly and attentive staff and a clean, open dining area. The food is delicious and affordable. I ordered the fried shrimp with mac & cheese and fries. My plate was piled high with good sized fried shrimp for just under $13. The mac and cheese was just as you'd expect from a southern food place. We also had the potato skins, which had a lot of bacon and cheese; the chicken strips, of which there are five in the meal; Eastern Carolina pulled pork, which my daughter enjoyed but with a different bbq sauce.
Do not skip dessert - great home made items that you can view in a display case as you enter. Order a glass of milk or coffee because these are sweet and rich treats that are not skimpy in size!
