Man this place is absolutely amazing. Prices are very reasonable. You get good portions and the chef was flown in from Nayarit! Absolutely great experience...service/food, just great!
Mariscos Nayarit is KILLING the previous restaurant. When we first sat down, I thought the prices were a bit expensive. I eventually apologized to the waitress after actually eating the food, realizing how terribly wrong I was regarding the value behind what I'd just eaten. I was so impressed with the food that I asked to talk to the chef, whom I came to find moved FROM Nayarit in Mexico and brought his own personal recipes. The food was as delicious as it looked and was worth every dime. I paid $17 for my plate with 8 shrimp in a garlic and Diablo sauce with rice and vegetables. Everything was tasty and filling. Our family of four ate with plenty of left overs for around $45. The service was good. It's clearly a new restaurant so I hope they keep up the good work because we will most definitely be returning. I'd give 6 stars if I could. This was quality food and is worth trying. If I had to be fair and provide a balanced review, I'd say the food was a bit heavy on the butter but it was just too good to complain.
The menu could stand to he improved as it is very heavy vauge and my high school Spanish class failed me. Oh well, google translate to the rescue.
The place is VERY sea food heavy with a lot of prawn, octopus, and fish dishes. Wasn't expecting that but the last page is tex-mex and they do have some chicken marinara pasta along side carne asada.
Josline was amazing! Also Jonathan was a very friendly person as well!!!!
