Red Bowl Asian Bistro

My son wanted to go here for his birthday and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, not heavy or greasy like your small Chinese restaurants. They have huge portions, great for sharing. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. He kept filling our water and tea up, right up until we were ready to leave, even though bill was already paid.
Only draw back was booths were a little rundown, with cracked and worn cushions. But very good experience, we will definitely be back.

The food is fine but nothing to write home about. All but the most mediocre of 'independently owned' Chinese restaurants I've been to have been tastier, and for someone who LOVES spiciness, it was disappointing that, when I ordered 'spicy Mongolian beef', and specified I wanted it EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA SPICY!!! all I got was some Mongolian beef that had a vague hint that at some point a chili pepper had been in the same building as it... Note NONE of it was Bad, and the staff was super friendly, but as a chain restaurant, it was... Bland I think Is the best term.

On Mother's Day the restaurants are usually very crowded. We tried a few and the wait was hours so we went home and got a bite to eat. A little early for dinner, 4 p.m., we thought we would go to Red Bowl and see if we can get a table. Two our surprise we were seated immediately. The waitress took our order and everything was delicious. By the time we left the restaurant was filling up with people. It turned out to be a wonderful Mother's Day.

Rick and the manager, Kevin, are simply amazing!!! Rick provided great service and helped in me and family member's selection to have a better variety! I brought family member a week ago and we were back on yesterday afternoon! Absolutely LOVE this place!
