Cafe Carolina and Bakery

Local to the area sandwiches, soups and salads, nice casual spot in Cameron Village. I wish they'd have more for people with food restrictions or allergies. The salad I order they are kind enough to change out the cheese for avocado at no charge! My favorite part is the sweet potato biscuit!

Nice, inviting atmosphere, food is generally well prepared and tastes good, kinda like a fast food joint but way better! The people that work here are always friendly and helpful. Finally, the customers always look interesting, like you could pick any one of them, sit down at their table and just have the most interesting conversation. I can't say I've ever eaten at a place like that before.

Really quaint place with awesome desserts. The staff was friendly and the cafe was busy but clean. It's a great atmosphere to bring your laptop and chill with a coffee or bring the family for lunch. Also is close by (walking) all the good shopping. Give yourself a break from Starbucks and support a local business that is, well, better anyway.

I met a buddy here for breakfast one day last week. The menu is gigantic, with plenty of choices for breakfast. The place is clean and well appointed. The staff I interacted with were polite and efficient. In the morning, before the Cameron Village shops open, parking is easy. That will not be the case during the day, e.g. lunch hour. But it will be worth going. Just give yourself time to find a place to park.
