Excellent salsa, so good I don't mind paying for it, I'd buy it if available. Chicken in the chicken tacos could use more seasoning, and they need coasters or napkins for the drinks. There was liquid rolling across the table from the condensation on the glasses and I had to keep wiping it up to stop it from being all over and getting on my clothes. Enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere.
Centro is easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in Raleigh. Everything is SO FRESH and always authentic. The staff here are very knowledgable and have always steered me in the right direction if I can't decide on what to order. There is literally something for everyone on the menu! Also their quest is the best I've ever had so make sure you order it.
Fun! Great food and just an absolute terrific spot when one wants something different. I had the Mole Poblano and it was delicious. The Mole sauce was deep and complex, authentic and totally spot on. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the staff are great! Will be back again with several others who find that this spot is perfect. Reasonably priced for the attention to detail.
Excellent food and an attentive and thoughtful bartender make this a ‘must visit’ for Raleigh.
Often we encounter a place recommended by locals that is good but not great. Well this was a recommendation that was great. What a lovely spot! A wee bit noisy (but let’s face it, Raleigh is noisy) but food, service and ambiance all match here to make a special time. Attentive, thoughtful and innovative. Must visit next time in Raleigh. I will be back!
I live in an area that has phenomenal Mexican food so I am usually weary of Mexican food when I travel. And if you tell me that there is a fusion aspect to it I would probably just look at you sideways. Centro however, broke both of these speculations. The food was tasty, fresh, and inventive!
