La Cucina Italiana (Raleigh)

This place looks a little underwhelming when you walk in but don't let that fool you everything is made fresh and hot. I was blown away by the quality of the food like my lasagna had fresh green herbs baked into the cheese. Although I wish that particular dish was a hair larger for the price everything else on the menu was reasonably priced and decent sized. We got wings bread sticks, lasagna, and Alfredo. The owner mentioned all the sauce is made daily in house and I just happened to hear another customer rave about their tea. The attention to detail in what they make, shows how much passion they put into their food.

Just visited La Cucina for the first time. The food was wonderful and fresh. Great pizza. Spoke with several other customers and all were unanimous that the food was fresh and delicious. The owners are very kind and want their customers to enjoy their food. Service is very attentive. La Cucina restaurant is clean and well decorated. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

My wife and I happened by the La Cucina sign and decided to give them a try. What a pleasant surprise! The pizza and garlic knots, with sauce, were all outstanding, and the service was excellent! "Mo" was very personable and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. The atmosphere is casual with nice Italiano decor. We will definitely go back!

Chef’s special clam pasta, penne ala vodka, garlic bread knot, and strawberry salad made me feel like in heaven after my first bite. They are so delicious.

Tried the linguini with mussels and it was delicious. Great and fast service I also liked the interior style of the restaurant. Definitely worth it.
