I've been going here for years and have always had an excellent experience. The seafood cannot be beat for the prices and quality. It is so fresh and affordable! I recommend the cold boiled shrimp platter as a classic go-to. Their coleslaw and hush-puppies are the best sides. The checkout is efficient: you order with one of the guys and pay at the counter, then they call your number. Highly recommend!

I love this place. Not too fancy, bit portions are huge and the food is always really good. If you like great fried seafood, this place is for you. Gets busy around lunchtime, but don't be intimiddted by the line. It moves fast.

This is the place to come for North Carolina seafood. I have been several times and they fill your plate full enough for 3 people. Always get flounder and shrimp and it is always fresh. Fast and friendly service. If you are ever at the Farmers Market stop in for lunch. I promise you won’t forget or regret it.

Food is good, Southern Comfort. Excellent value. If you order broiled rather than fried plan on waiting an extra 15 minutes. Self service, friendly staff. Clean your own table. Very local country style crowd. Believe we looked like we just stepped off a flying saucer. Atmosphere is country funky, it is located at State Farmers Market. Somewhere between barn and market stalls. Nice place off the beaten path.

really good food. Fresh fish and shrimp. Not too overly seasoned so the freshness of the ingredients shines through. Service was really fast. The place is crowded but that adds to the rustic environment. Portions are large and totally justified by the price.
