If you haven't been here, you're seriously missing out. I just had their egg sandwich and it was easily the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. They're bread is delicious and the staff is super friendly. The daily specials always look and taste fantastic.
Delicious lunch here today. Stopped in for a quick bite after volunteering at the local food bank around the corner with my co-workers. Service was fast and friendly and food was really good all around. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect as well. Stop by if you want something a cut above the norms for lunch!
Amazing food with high quality ingredients that's equally creative and delicious. Love the location and atmosphere. It's also very apparent that staff is appreciated for their work in great customer service and production. Always at the top of our list ❤️
Would you like to know what happens when you decide to treat your employees like humans and not numbers? The answer is Union Special Bread. There's a palpable buzz of enthusiasm and positivity here among the workers as they bustle about. Andrew Ullom is a good person, an excellent baker, and a smart businessman.
Everything from the pastry case is beautiful. Their croissants are among the best the Eastern seaboard has to offer, and given that Boulted Bread is in the same city, that's saying a hell of a lot.
Despite the fact that I've been here a number of times now, this was my first time sitting down to eat a proper entree. Every aspect of the menu has been given proper consideration. The prices are beyond reasonable for what you get. Hell, look at how perfectly those eggs were cooked!
I'm g l a d I don't live nearby. I'd be in such deep trouble... ????
I’m so glad this bakery just opened, I’ve been excited about it for months as it’s been under construction in my neighborhood. It has a great interior space with plenty of seating and natural light. I got two pastries on my visit, the Tomato Horseradish Danish and the Strawberry Danish. Both are delicious and flaky, I had to exert superhuman strength to just eat half of each so that I could save the rest for my husband. The tomato and strawberries had a ton of flavor on each danish, and the horseradish was a subtle addition that paired so well with the tomato and flaky dough on it’s danish. They have Counter Culture for drip coffee and Slingshot for cold brew. Construction in the shopping center is still ongoing, so that may affect parking but I was able to get a spot right outside on a Thursday morning before 10am. I suspect they’ll sell out quickly each day, so I recommend coming early. The owner Andrew and other staff I encountered are so friendly! I can’t wait to come back soon to try more of the menu, especially as they add brunch.
