Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

This is a new Zaxby's as of early 2024. It has a nice open feel with less cluttered decor than some of the older Zaxby's. The people working here were definitely on task to make you feel welcomed and catered to. The food was typical Zaxby's and very good. Nice to see Zaxby's in this growing and busy part of Northeast Raleigh right on US 401. Will definitely stop here again when in the area. One of the things I have always liked about Zaxby's in the Raleigh area is that the management and even the owners make themselves available for conversations and to make sure that everything went well with your visit. I feel they really care!

Modeled after the Chick-fil-A approach, the drive-through service features staff taking orders directly at cars, which is a nice touch. The interior maintains the expected cleanliness of a new venue. Staff members are friendly, though there was a disappointing restriction on meal customization, notably not allowing an upgrade to loaded fries.

Boneless BBQ Chicken: 5.8/10
The chicken was satisfactory, neither exceptional nor disappointing. For a place focusing on chicken, one would hope for a standout dish, which this was not.

Zaxby Chicken Sandwich: 5.1/10
An average chicken sandwich that doesn't distinguish itself from typical fast-food offerings.

Kickin' Chicken Sandwich: 2.2/10
A significant letdown, overly saucy to the point of ruining the sandwich's structure, with chicken tenders that slipped out, creating a messy eating experience.

Seasoned well, these fries offer a taste slightly better than average, though they lacked the desired crispiness.

Considering the overall food quality and dining experience, the pricing was reasonable, matching the amount and quality of the food received.

Service was fast! I went through the drive thru and despite several cars being ahead of me, I had my order in less than 5min. The young lady who took my order was well mannered and so nice. I ordered the traditional Zaxbys chicken sandwich with seasoned fries. Fries were hot, crispy and had just enough seasoning on them. Chicken was also delicious, hot and seasoned just right. Will be returning to this location! If you work at this location keep up the good work 🫶🏼

I have eaten at many Zaxby’s in my day and this is the best I have ever experienced. Chicfila has set the standard for customer service in fast food/fast casual and the staff at this Zaxby’s has far exceeded that standard. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The inside is extremely clean and well maintained. The food was excellent. 10/10 across the board. Keep up the good work!
